Pete Rivard has been playing banjo and performing professionally for thirty years, around the east coast, in Texas and in Minnesota. He took up the button accordion while in Texas, delving into the Cajun and Tex-Mex vernaculars.

Most recently Pete is remembered as a founding member and songwriter of the Rivertown Rats, a folk-rock ensemble known for their CD Blue Sundress.
